Stoke City FC - Ready To Fire

A new season brings new hope and when you combine that with a team and a manager who’ve had a season to gel together, the future looks very bright for Stoke City. Ready to Fire is a bold, confident statement, which combines the history of Stoke and it’s world-famous potteries with a promise that this team is ready to deliver whenever they step on the pitch. This new-look Stoke City side has been moulded during 2013/14 making it Ready to Fire and realise its potential during 2014/15, in partnership with Warrior Football.

For the home shirt, the iconic red and white stripes have been applied using sublimation print, combined with a four-way stretchable mesh to the sleeve cuff and underarm panel for extra ventilation.

The away shirt silhouette draws inspiration from various eras of the clubs past; the collared shirts of the 1940s are blended with the front panel sash of the 1970s. It’s a fresh, modern twist on a familiar colour configuration using bold block designs and edgier colour shades, which makes the overall look a visually striking kit.

City manager Mark Hughes: “Stoke City are known the world over for their red and white stripes and the one of the most important things for the fans is staying true to the heritage of their club.

“Warrior have done just that with the home kit and bringing back the sash on the away shirt that I’m told featured in the 1970s is a nice touch that I’m sure fans will appreciate.”

Club captain Ryan Shawcross added: “The red and white kit is part of Stoke City’s identity and not only does Warrior’s design look good it also feels and performs great from a player’s perspective.”

Stoke City are ready, are you?
